As a science and technical writer, I take complex content and present it in simpler terms so everyone can understand the latest advancements.
During my treatments for leukemia, I enjoyed simplifying the medical jargon for my friends and family. This passion ultimately led me to Drexel University to pursue science communication, where my coursework has included a variety of communication, biology, and public health classes. My treatments also taught me that the happiest people don't have the best of everything, they make the most of everything. I make the most of my free time by volunteering and traveling to new places. I especially enjoy hiking, whitewater rafting and cross-country skiing. |
